Safe and accurate Implant Surgery with CT-Scan Diagnostic
The CT-Scanner or CBCT (=Cone Beam Computer Tomography) enables the Dental Surgeon to analyse the anatomical conditions and plan the position of the implants precisely. While a conventional only shows a 2-dimensional X-ray the CT Scan shows a 3-dimensional image. The surgeon can exactly locate
any anatomical structures and choose the correct place for an implant. Especially in more complicated cases
it is essential to use a CT-Scan as the 3-dimensional image shows the depth, width and density of the bone and very importantly the location of nerve canals and sinus cavities with an accuracy of 0.1mm.
The use of special software (SimPlant) allows us to fabricate surgical guides via CAD-CAM technology (Materialize-Belgium).The technology enables us to provide “same day teeth” The Patient can have teeth fitted at the same time as the implants are placed. The technology is called ” All on 4″ or “Fast and fixed”
